Our entire range of buildings are not only highly insulated but they are designed to be energy efficient.

Made with SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels)

All of our buildings are made from Structural Insulated Panels. These are made from a layer of Polyurethane that is injected between two sheets of 11mm OSB3 Board. These highly versatile panels form the floor, walls, and roof giving you an incredibly strong structure with exceptional thermal performance. Our Panel Sizes: 72mm, 97mm, 122mm, 147mm, 172mm and 200mm.

Migration From Timber Frame to SIPs

We recommend the importance of a firm base for our buildings to be constructed on.

We recommend one of the following options:

• Concrete Base
• Ground Screws
• Pile / Pad System

Do I need planning permission?

The short answer is generally no. The majority of our buildings are designed to comply with Permitted Development guidelines which means they can simply be built without the need of planning permission. However, we always advise homeowners to check with their local authority as there are some areas that can be discounted from these rules.

How long will a SIP building last?

With more than just TLC, if the building is properly maintained the SIP panel structure should last in excess of 50 years. With other key components including cladding and rubber roofing having lifespans to match, your building will be yours to enjoy for many years!
